I like the drum throne has a motorcycle style cushion that allows for more coverage compared to the traditional round seat drum throne. As a result, I can sit for longer periods of time during a practice session, and not experience any dis comfort. With a traditional drum throne, the padding tends to harden up and affect the overall comfort of the stool.

This thing is big and sturdy. I'm a big guy and this fits me very comfortably. I've used it a lot and it never feels weak or unstable. The feet are very sturdy with rubber covers and the throne itself is thick and comfortable. The height is adjustable and overall it is a really awesome drum stool, especially for the price!

Hey! If you're looking for something sturdy and comfy to rest your rump on for hours on end while doing all the work while the rest of the band gets all the credit then this is the throne for you! I'm just learning to drum but I've sat on many stools over the 20 years of playing guitar and this one is great. Pad is plenty big even for a big guy like myself and it feels planted.

This is a great, stable, solidly built drum throne. I'm a very large guy, 300 lbs and it supports me, it swivels and I put it together in about 2 minutes. Basic, simple, comfortable and extremely well made. If I ever need to buy another drum throne I will be looking to purchase this again. Just a heads up, this box ships in it's own box so anyone that sees it will absolutely know what is inside so if you're looking to give it as a gift, be careful.

There is a lot of critism right now about how wobblily these seats are. But if you are a short person like me, (I am 5'5) then the wobbles are minimal. And just about every throne I've read reviews on wobbles to some extent unless you are willing to dish out over 200 dollars. One positive thing I like about this throne is that there are no gas shocks, it's all twist and tighten. The seat has plenty of cushioning but yet it's firm. If you are a short person who is trying to save money, this seat is perfect for you. Again I am 5'5 and barely have the seat raised, so there is more support for me. But for someone with the seat raised all the way, it will be less sturdy.

I looked at a number of thrones before deciding on this one. It came down to price to value. I’m not a small guy (5’10”, 235), and I needed a throne that could handle that as I learned my new kit. This one’s done the job. It also works great for my 19 month old baby to sit on and jam with me. Assembly was easy. Packaging was minimal but sufficient. It’s been a delight! Would definitely buy again.

For the price this is amazing. Its wide and has support. This quality would cost you +$150 anywhere else. It's not the most comfortable but then again I did just get it so maybe it needs to be broken in

It’s a sturdy throne as far as holding up goes. I’m a 350lb man and it doesn’t sway or move at all. The seat however does what every single throne I’ve ever owned has done which is wiggle a bit. I haven’t tried any home remedies to fix it as it’s not that big of a deal and honestly it helps my rear not to fall asleep when I’m playing for an extended time. Tremendous value for the money spent.

very reliable, excellent durable feel. when my boys want to drum they spin the throne down. when i want to drum, i spin the throne up—fast and easy.

I'm very happy with the sturdiness and size of this drum throne. Based on the stability I feel under me, I'll have this seat as long as I want to. If you're looking for a smaller throne, this isn't for you, but if you need more padding or just want a big seat, this is it at this price point. You'll see in my pictures that the frame is stable, the underside is well supported, and the size of the seat over the base. There are far more expensive options, but there's lots of much cheaper stuff out there too. This is better than what I expected and that's a good thing.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a more comfortable throne than the one he had. The cushion is thick and the comfortable seat is adjustable and does not move around all over the place. Rubber feet keep it in place. Although it does not have a velvet top this seat is comfortable. He likes it.
