The size configuration of the bass drum and the smaller, shallower dimensions of the mounted tom-toms are in keeping with the new trend of drummers like Benny Greb and Anika Niles, The bass drum has a powerful attack and the snare and smaller tom-toms are easy to tune, however, the floor tom-tom should be 14 inches around, not 16...although it took me about 5 seconds to get over it!!
I would like to wish you great success with the launch of this series. I'll be on the look-out for what comes out new in your product development.

Had no problems getting this and at such a good price, was delivered in a week, it has nice hardware, I was surprised how nice the bass pedal is, it came with 1 ply tom heads tuned it up and sounds good but I wanted more deep warm sound so got Remo pinstripes 2ply, tunes up and sounds great, another thing is nice that it is made of Birchwood!! I appreciate Eastar music and Donner music for gearing their efforts towards the music student and bring the best of quality they can in their instruments and sell at an affordable price

For a beginners drum set and being that it is very inexpensive, this drum set actually sounds very nice. Eventually I’ll upgrade the symbols and add a ride and another crash and probably change the heads but everything sounds pretty good for being basic.

Excellent kit for a beginner! Assembly may be difficult if you have never done it before. Included directions are helpful but not enough. Buy a tube of lug lube to help the tension rods fasten smoother. Look up videos on YouTube to help.
Shell material is good, hardware on the drums, as well as stands, are lightweight. Stands are double braced which is more than enough to function. Cymbals are typical “starter cymbals”. Bass drum pedal is excellent for beginners.

This drum set is worth the money. Comes with great hardware that will last a long time. It is sturdy enough for advanced players. Only thing you would need to do it upgrade the cymbals and heads but you can definitely get a good sound from the heads that comes on it. So with that being said I would recommend this.

I'd place it as an intermediate kit. Those are easy to upgrade. I purchased this kit for my younger brother, as he's been wanting to get into drums (and my kit is no longer available to him, since I've moved out of home) TLDR: Definitely recommend for beginner/intermediate players.

The brass is not the highest grade available... But for the price it is good with that it comes with! Good value for the items received and the blue REALLY sparkles!!!

The Eastar 20” Drum Kit is an exceptional kit for an exceptional price. Most shell packs do not come with hardware or cymbal packs. This entire package has a bass drum, 3 toms, snare, hi hat stand with cymbals, crash stand with crash cymbal, sticks, bass drum pedal and beater, and a throne. That’s a huge deal. And there’s extra hardware in case tension rods strip or anything breaks.
Set up does take a while. The kit is in pieces. But it can be assembled quickly using just the drum key that is supplied by the maker.
This is a great beginner kit. It’s sits comfortable and offers more than a basic beginner kit from anyone else.

First, I have to say, the quality is great! I was very impressed with the hardware!! It was better than what came with some of my other sets. But beware... unless you know what your doing to assemble a drum kit, get someone who knows to help you, because directions are very vague! Over all... very great sounding set
