Extremely fast delivery, it's a good beginner piano, I wish this additional sounds were better but the grand piano sound is quite good and the feel of the instrument is fine

Order came in during holiday season within a few days. Love the keyboard and have no complaints at all.

Cannot beat what you get for the price. Great piano tone and speakers. Some average sounds and some good vintage sounds. Definitely worth the price.

The sound on the keyboard is beautiful it has good sound on it’s own and it can be hooked up to speakers to fill an auditorium of any size or to headphones so it can be played while my husband is in a zoom meeting!
Saeed
I like it so much. Just worth it.

I get what I was looking for. With this price, it is probably the best one can find, especially for beginners. However, the thickness of the instrument is really high. It may not be a big deal, but, it would be better to know that.

Good quality

This keyboard sounds amazing and has 4 wonderful speakers and its just very loud and amazing for anyone.

My daughter has been really impressed with the keyboard. No regrets buying it!

This is everything I hoped for. I am a piano instructor, and it's so hard to teach your own kids sometimes! I bought this for my 16 yr old and he is getting back into music, which makes me ecstatic lol
The pedal works well, the weighted keys feel and work very well. Also, it came packaged well and was in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

Good sound, my kid love it

I've always wanted to learn to play the piano. My children were also taking piano lessons before the pandemic, but they were left unfinished. So I decided to buy a product that is easy to carry home, does not take up space but is the closest to the piano. After long reviews, I decided to buy the Donner piano. I'm not very skilled, but the keys are heavy like the traditional piano, and the piano itself is very well-formed. I think the sound quality is also excellent. I recommend it to new learners. I think one should not buy a professional piano before starting a newbie. It is a huge financial and physical burden.

This Donner Piano is a great piano for a great price. It has options for outside speakers to be hooked up, but I find the regular speakers sufficient for my needs. I am overall impressed with the quality, and value of this piano. Great for amateur, to intermediate players, and can be used for live performances!
BOBBAY!
I just moved into a smaller space and had to do a lot of downsizing. It was sad saying goodbye to my upright piano but I’m really happy to have this keyboard in its place. It sounds great and is easily moveable. If you live in an apartment or have limited space, this’ll suit you well.
Breyla L.
It's not as top notch as a 1000 dollar one, but for people on a budget, its PERFECT. I have been playing nonstop. I'm so happy that I can keep playing piano despite the fact that school is over.

Love this piano! It sounds beautiful and works flawlessly. Very happy we purchased this.
Niki
This piano is awesome!! I was looking for my first piano since I wanted to learn to play. The piano had to be full weighted and every other piano are way too expensive for my budget. This is worth the price and plays nicely. The only thing I would nick pick about is the headphone jack is a little too big to fit any of my headphones. Otherwise this piano is worth the price and there are so many fun tunes! (The stickers on the piano, I bought separately)

This is a solid instrument and excellent value.
I mostly focus on guitar but wanted to be able to easily record keys as well.
The default grand piano voicing is convincing and sounds good with the build-in speakers. The keyboard comes with a variety of modern sounds and rhythms, though I like the pure piano sound best. And it connects to a PC via USB, allowing for unlimited sound possibilities.
Playing the adjustable weighted keys feel great and give good feedback, and all functions and settings are easily accessible.
In addition to 2 headphone jacks on the front, the back has sufficient connectivity options with line-in and out, a USB port to play MP3 from a thumb drive, and another USB port to connect to a PC, e.g. for recording, or to play back midi files via the piano (does not come with USB cables).
There's also a port for the included sustain pedal.
This is no lightweight, and it's not small - Get a good stand for it. I have a Z style stand that works great with it.
The manual is basic, in English and Chinese, and lists all voicings and demo settings.
My piano came securely packed, undamaged, and in perfect condition with power supply, sustain pedal, and manual.
Stress reliever
I love this piano keyboard. More piano then keyboard. Playing is so relaxing! I love how this really sounds like a piano not some digital toy. Great sound.
Danielle
The weighted keys are wonderful! The sound is great too. I have great confidence that my daughter can learn on this digital piano and develop the strength in her hands to play a real piano with no problems with the transition. What a great find at a great price!!!

I like that it sounds like a real piano. The keyboard quality and feel is also like a real piano

I love this piano and has held up nicely with lots of love from my 5 year old. It is easy to learn how to use the functions. My favorite feature is that it feels like a real piano but in a keyboard size. We bought a keyboard stand and a headphone adapter separately that has set us up for a great musical instrument. The only thing that I would change is the look of the thing. It does not “look“ pretty. It’s kind of bulky.
Note: those pink tabs are sticky notes for learning different keys. They don’t come with the piano.

I was looking for an 88 key weighted keyboard for beginners and found several articles recommending this one. It was reasonably priced, looks and sounds great, and is high quality. I would definitely recommend this keyboard.

I grew up with a real full piano.
They are so big though and I don’t have room for one at my house.
I used to play with a Yamaha keyboard that the keys weren’t weighted and it just didn’t feel right.
I purchased this because it was the least expensive fully weighted hammer action keyboard that I could find.
I am overjoyed that it plays so well and feels like a real piano.
Sound is very good and loud and the sustain pedal works well.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for something that is weighted keys to practice with.
Angelina
Very good quality! Lots of features. Definitely love this purchase!!

This piano is great for beginners, the quality of sound is good
Jetset Joe Joe
I love this piano just started playing the piano for the first time in my entire life this Thanksgiving and the sound quality is great especially for a first piano.

I wouldn’t say this is beginner keyboard. My son is average and he said it’s not something a beginner would buy. He does love all the tones and how loud it is. Was a very good price for a Christmas present. I would buy from them again.
Carmen Chip
Perfect for myself and kids as we are beginners. Love the sound quality.

Thanks my sons loves it and it has amazing sound
Imana
I got this keyboard for my birthday. I was looking for something that was as piano like as possible, that way I can practice at night or whenever I wants while my family is sleeping or working. This keyboard is great! Great sound quality, the keys feel great. Just over all great. Very good for price, would recommend!
Shay
These note stickers are great for learning the piano. They help me keep my fingers in the right place. They also help with finger placement. I would recommend these stickers for all who are learning to play the piano.

It’s a steal, at such a great price. Plays well, sounds decent (not the highest quality but still good for its cost) but what I do when I want a different sound is use a midi cable to play through a laptop or iPad. The sustain pedal is also a great addition! The main and pretty much only downside is the height/thickness of the piano, as the keys are about 6-8 inches above whatever surface they’re on, but I still manage to use it comfortably despite this issue.
I ran into an issue with Amazon on my order, but I contacted Donner and they did an amazing job of helping me out.
It really is a great piano that is worth the cost. I liked it so much that I bought a second DEP-20 and donated it to my dorm area for others to use.
Jimmy Hays Nelson
We purchased this for my son as he started piano lessons. There are so many great features that they’ve figured out how to use on their own!
Caitlin B.
It’s great for beginner students
Carlos
Love this Piano, it is not only very affordable but also sounds and feels like a grand piano. Perfect for beginners and amazing features!
Minneapolis Mopar
This keyboard sounds like my friends perfectly tuned stringed piano! This is an exciting purchase for me. I only learned chords a few years ago and always just messed around with it to have fun. This is my first purchase where I’m going to use it to write my own music and so far I am overly satisfied. Although I was disappointed it didn’t come with a stand and seat I wound up finding a great deal in the latter and set up of the piano itself was very simple. The ports are incredibly easy to manage, I absolutely love the option to plug the headphones into the front side of the keyboard! Very good purchase for the price, I am very happy!!
Martin
I got this one for my daughter she is a beginner and she loves it
Nicole
The sound is full the keys feel real and the quality is very nice!

It came super quick and has amazing quality for the price.

What an amazing piano. This is my first piano and for beginners this is awesome. It has a ton of different piano and instruments that you can choose from. It is very loud and the speaker are ok. You can also connect headphones on it so not to disturb other people with my horrible playing . Now I just need a stand for it and I’m ready.
Joaquin Cossio
Very good product. Works amazing and it’s very good for beginners. I’ve been using it to learn and it’s been awesome. Would definitely recommend for beginners or experts. Very nice size and material looks it will last

I started shopping around and looked at many digital pianos with 88 weighted keys that feels and sound like a regular piano. I asked a piano teacher at my son’s school who advised me to look for beginners digital pianos and not stage pianos.
The prices that I could afford were in the $400 range and not more. All the leading brands were in the $800 and beyond my budget.
Let me explain the pros and cons:
Pros:
The Donner piano has decent weighted keys with good speakers and 2 headphone jacks in the front. The grand piano voice is realistic especially with the added digital effect and the use of the accompanied sustain pedal.
I like the single track recording feature that I use to record and replay my piano lessons.
The piano has a good build quality and came well packaged.
Cons:
I wished Donner paid more attention to the layout of the keys on the panel to select voices, rhythm and other keys. For example the Tempo + and Tempo - keys are very far from each other and are each in a different section. The accompaniment rhythm and chord are too loud compared to the solo voices and not all chords are recognized.
So far the piano voice and 128 polyphony are good enough for my piano practice lessons and the instrument price is good too.
I believe this is a good bargain for beginners and for piano practice.

I’m a beginner but my instructor told me to get an 88-key with weighted keys and a sustain petal and I’d be able to tell the difference from my first keyboard. It feels just like a piano and the sound is very good compared to my first keyboard.
Marissa
This piano exceeded my expectations. I played on an acoustic piano for several years in school and recently decided I’d like to get back to it. My main purchasing decision was how the keys would feel compared to an acoustic piano. I definitely wanted something with weighted keys and hoped this would be good enough, and honestly I think the keys compare to a pricier digital keyboard — the keys themselves even have some texture to them, the black keys are pretty matte and don’t feel like cheap plastic.
I love that it came with a pedal, but it’s not the highest quality pedal. It has very little resistance when depressed.
I use over ear headphones with this and had to get one of those converter jacks. I don’t think the sound quality in the headphones is as good as the sound out of the speakers, but I don’t mind too much while practicing.

The piano plays nicely and responsive

The weighted keys feel great and the piano plays well

This is really the next best thing to the reality of playing an actual piano and it has a lot of functions that make it worth the trade for the slight difference in keyboard.
Both myself and my husband love the sound and feel of a real piano. Unfortunately we don’t have the space and for recording, a keyboard of this caliber is really necessary.
The difference in playing is very slight, you have to have an excellent ear to even catch the slight delay between playing the note and the sound and if you aren’t the one playing, you can’t tell at all no matter how good your ear is.
The sound on the keyboard is beautiful it has good sound on it’s own and it can be hooked up to speakers to fill an auditorium of any size or to headphones so it can be played while my husband is in a zoom meeting!
It can also be programmed to have multiple tones and even to have single keys play different chords! It can make a simple piece of melody turn into a symphony with the right adjustments!
It also can be made to play as different instruments, many keyboards do this, what I like about this keyboard is that you can program it so only half or only certain areas or keys play as different instruments!
This makes it insanely versatile and gives nearly unlimited creativity to someone who wants to enhance a piece of music or compose their own music.
It’s easy to record of off, their are multiple methods to plug into the keyboard with from cords, USB, thumb drives, MP3 players etc
There were two surprises when it came in, I kind of thought it came with the bag it was shown with in many of the pictures. It doesn’t come with that.
I was delighted to find that it was included!! It works great and I thought I would have to buy it later.
The keyboard is a large machine and I’m not sure how portable I would consider it to be. Definitely get it and measure it before buying a bag or case to make sure it will fit as I was surprised by how ‘deep’ it was.
It doesn’t take up a lot of room, except that it is a full 88 keys and that’s going to be fairly long. It has good speakers and a lot of components. It’s definitely a worthy piece of equipment and sturdy. It’s not extremely heavy, but it’s not light either. It’s very much worth it for the sound you get and everything else.

This is full size keyboard with "weighted" keys. What that means is that it has the same feel as a piano rather than the soft feel of cheap electronic keyboards. It also registers how hard you strike the key and plays softer/louder accordingly. This is important if you want to the feel of playing a "real" piano.
I think it sounds great and is pretty loud. There are 2 convenient headphones jacks to practice in silence (and duets :) ) I tried also connecting the audio out to an amplifier and boy did it sound great with a full size speaker!
The piano has lots of different sounds, from bells, to organ, to strings, etc... so I'm sure there are lots of sounds for everybody, but I wanted a piano, so I really only use the "Grand Piano" sound which is the default when you turn it on.
From the photos you can see it like a real piano to let the notes resonate even when you let go. According to the manual you can also get a 3 pedal set, but it doesn't come with it. As you can see from the photos on Amazon, the piano comes with a music sheet holder, I don't have it up in the video.
There are lots of cool features, like the ability to play along with demo tracks, do automatic chords, etc... I didn't play with too many of those, because I wanted a piano but I didn't have the money or room for a "real" piano. I do like that it has a built-in metronome, playing with a metronome beat is an important skill for beginners.
I love the ability to play along with your own MP3s/tracks. either use the "audio in" cable or plug a USB stick with your tracks right in the back of the piano.

Recommendation: I'm giving it 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking in this price range. Its not going to play like a pristine $2000 electric piano, but at this price range and for what I'm doing with it, I'm very impressed with it.
First and foremost, for an electric piano at this price, its a great deal. I wanted a weighted 88 key keyboard/piano that plays like a real piano, and this does. I've had this piano for a few days now, and have been playing it a lot. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who is looking for an electric piano in this price range. The construction of this piano is a lot more durable than I was expecting it to be. I tried to put some info down below on the features I've noticed so far, I hope this helps anyone who reads it.
Speakers: The speakers are very clear, and do not seem to clip or scratch when turned all the way up. Even with the bass sounds, the speakers perform great. I've been keeping the volume at about 75%, and that's really all that's needed. The speakers have some great range and handle high end and low end really well. I've also noticed that nothing on the piano vibrates, hums or gives any annoying, unintended sound when the volume is up.
