I purchased this keyboard to give as a birthday present to my great-grand-niece who will be 5 years old very soon. I believe it will help her begin the process of learning to read notes and play children's music. I researched carefully before making the decision to purchase the Eastar keyboard. It is not a "toy piano" - it is a 61-key, well-made keyboard and is very reasonably priced. It has lovely sound quality and is actually a very attractive piece of furniture. It was easy to shop on the Eastar website, and my purchase was promptly delivered. The keyboard was carefully packaged and very simple to assemble.

For my son's 6th birthday we decided to get him a piano, so he can learn piano as he always wish for a piano. As parents who has no to limited knowledge about piano, we did some research by ourselves and decided to get this one.
First of all, we don't want to spend a fortune on something we don't know if he truly enjoys or not. As my own experience, I had taken some piano lessons, but found out it was not for me, then I stopped. This piano is made from some wood materials, it does have a classic look of a piano. We already have a keyboard at home, and my son is old enough to distinguish between a piano and a keyboard.
Secondly, it has a feature called silent mode, which I can connect headphones to the jack on the back of the piano to play without disturb others. I think it's a great feature because I really don't want my son to play it all day long without giving me a break.
My husband set it up, and it looks very nice in my living room. It does look like a real piano with a classic look. It's beautiful and fashionable as well. It does not take so many space as the piano itself is 37.4x 11.4x 28.2 inches.
We are not a professional, so I can't comment about how it sounds. For me, it sounds clear and loud.
With the affordable price and its classical look, I am so happy that I got my son this for his birthday. He won't start his lessons until next year but right now he can play with it. They have about 40 demo songs, also recording and play back mode, definitely a good buy for any beginners for piano introduction.

Looks just as pictured…such a beauty in person! No doubt this piano is a nice added piece of furniture. We’re all beginners in my home, but hopefully one if not both of my boys will grow an interest to play. This piano arrived packaged very nicely and all the keys works perfectly. There was very little assembling, my husband had it up and going in no time. I love that this piano is not too big, it’s just the right size. Needless to say it is made of quality material and feels very sturdy. All in all, amazing electric piano that I would highly recommend to anyone!

This piano is a good step up from the basic keyboard I started with. The stand it comes with does its best to give it a classier, more expensive look. I wouldn't put too much weight on it, but the wood construction does feel solid. There are a variety of external input options, more than I would ever need including: MP3, USB MIDI, earphone and microphone jacks. The touchpad to the left allows for the adjustment of tones and different rhythm styles. At this price point, the keys feel as good as you might expect, no surprises. Sound is clear and rich with its full-range speakers. If I had to nitpick, the sustain pedal feels a little cheap compared to everything else you get.

I love this digital piano that has a sheet music holder but I put my phone in there because I use a phone app to learn piano and it's easy to put together and it looks nice it sounds good and I like the buttons on the left and it has a foot pedal and there's an area on the back where you connect different things like the pedal in the power supply. The only thing I don't like is I have to get my own stickers to put on the keys since they aren't marked since this is for beginners but it looks nicer without them. I have been learning to play without them so far, it is possible. Eastar seems to be a nice brand and I'm happy with my first non-acoustic piano. I did have a big electric organ and small digital keyboard before. This is the classiest most professional looking keyboard that I've ever had!

Bought this for my 12 year old. She plays other instruments. It is sturdy and better quality than we expected. It plays beautifully, much more like a piano than a keyboard. I would purchase this again.

My daughter has been in piano lessons for a few months now so we decided to upgrade to this keyboard piano. The keys on this keyboard piano closely approximate the feel of the keys on her teacher's piano. From the moment we got it out of the box, she was very excited to begin practicing.
The keyboard piano comes with a stand that's easy to assemble. This item produces a great piano sound and feel, but does not take up very much space. This is a perfect piano for a beginning student and will help them develop their love of music.

I am very pleased to get this electronic keyboard and am still learning its features. This model number arrived as the piano unit alone. It does not include a microphone or any of the accessories that some other reviewers mention (though there is a jack for one, as well as your own headset). Still, that is fine and it is impressive to me as an electronic keyboard.
The assembly is screwing two Philips-head screws into each side of the cross panel, then two screws underneath the console itself to attach it to the top of each wide leg. You need your own screwdriver for this. The more decorative screws on top for the stand were already there, so I just loosened them a bit and slid the stand into position, then tightened (by hand) back down.
The default tone when you turn it on is grand piano. The key response and speaker sound are excellent. The demo tracks sound really good and incorporate such special effects that I am not sure I could ever duplicate them. This would be excellent for children who want to learn not only piano, but "boards" or something about recording studio work and the producing side of tweaking and altering sounds.

It was a gift for grandson and he is very happy with it. It was left at the mailbox at the end of my long driveway on a major highway, very unhappy about that because could have very very easily been grabbed and I would never have known but that's no reflection on product. We are very pleased with the keyboard.
