Perfect for beginners. Sound quality is good and size is perfect. I would recommend buying the stand to go along with it.

I love my new keyboard its perfect for beginners!! I haven't played piano in years and when you don't use it you loose it, so when I got this new keyboard it helped me relearn how to play.

I have been getting really into music over the past while. I have purchased guitar and mics stand and decided to learn keyboard as well to add another layer to my band. donner equipment seems to be reasonably priced with good quality.
I love all the custom sounds that you can play with the keyboard. The keyboard is really big and easy to play.

Was wanting a keyboard so I could return to piano playing....this one is simple to use, and has advanced features for when I get back to that ability...great for me, so far!
James Whitlatch
Exactly as described. Sound quality is great, semi weighted keys give it the feel of a Yamaha allowing for the brightness expected of a quality instrument

I received the Donner keyboard 3 days ago. This is my first keyboard and finding my way around the device seemed very easy. The layout is very well designed making it easy to navigate through the various features and effects, despite lacking a screen.
The semi-weighted keys feel premium and their sensitivity surpassed my expectations.
The keyboard was bulkier than I expected it to be but I don't have a problem with it. The 88 key design is good, but I wasn't very fond of the tone of the lowest octave, but I don't think the lowest octave is used that often. The tones otherwise are very good. The built in speaker quality is great too.
I haven't tried the midi functionalities yet, but think that is a great feature to have.
Overall I think it is great value for money and I look forward to having loads of fun with it.

I bought this based on reviews, and I am not disappointed. The keys are weighted and feel like a regular piano. The sound is good. I have not utilized the pedal, or other components, but look forward to learning those.

The piano was a bit wobbly one i started to play other songs such as maple leaf rag but an easy fix. the price is very resonable compared to other digital pianos out there. 10/10 for me!

I got this piano as a beginner wanting to progress and it's perfect for the task! I don't know a huge amount about what makes a good piano yet, but for the affordability this one does everything I need it to do; not too many bells and whistles but sounds and feels high quality and sturdy overall. The voices are easy to change, there are a few effects like reverb and there's a built in metronome which are all easy to use. The volume control is a slider and it can get very loud.
I wanted a large piano so I wouldn't have to get used to a bigger one later. This one doesn't comes without a stand so worth considering whether you need it or if you've got a surface to put it it on. It's big. There's a music stand so you can use a tablet/phone
They keys have a textured finish which is a nice touch. They are also weighted/have some resistance so it feels like a piano rather than keyboard. I've not tried to use it as a MIDI controller yet, but the number of connections available is great. It uses full size (quarter inch) cable connections if you want to use headphones. The only flaw is that mine has one slightly noisy (unmuted?) key.

The Donner DEP-10 88 Key Electric Piano is a great sounding electric piano with lots of features. I would highlight three things overall: the piano sound, the keyboard feel, the potential volume.
First, the primary function of this instrument, the sound setting for Acoustic Piano, faithfully emulates a piano sound. There are many more sounds, but more on those later.
Second, the feel of the keys is indistinguishable from a real acoustic piano. I was able to do a pretty thorough comparison test against my stand-up piano and was very impressed.
Third, with two built in 25W speakers, the system has enough power to crank up the volume enough for practice at home and maybe a small gig. If that should ever not be enough, you can run an instrument cable to an external speaker system using the connectors in the back. If you ever want to play without disturbing others, there are two headphone out connectors in front. The extra connector is convenient for supervised practice or two people playing the same keyboard.
This piano also has a number of additional features that can usually be enabled with a two-key sequence:
Pre-Selected Songs - The keyboard is able to play a variety of pre-selected songs.
Tone – You can play the keyboard using other tones such as Electric Piano, Church Organ or Strings Ensemble among others.
Rhythm – A selection of accompanying rhythms can be enabled and a tempo selected.
One Finger Chords – The keyboard can be set up to enable playing of chords with one finger of the left hand.
Among the other features are a USB output socket, MP3 player, an included single sustain pedal and sockets for a single pedal and a triple pedal.
If you want to just play the piano you only need to turn it on and play. The keyboard has the authentic feel and sound of a piano. However it has a lot of additional features. If you want to delve into the features, the keyboard includes a thorough manual that provides the detail on how to use them.

I give the sound quality 5 stars.

We love the simplicity and the feel of keys. It feel like playing a real piano. I like the sound and a selection of instruments.

This Piano is one of the best things i’ve ever bought. The sound is really good, the keys are heavy and the quality is amazing. If you’re looking for a new addition this is the one!

Perfect piano for my 8 year old son. Sounds great!

This was recommended to us by various people in the music world. We are thrilled with this purchase. Our daughter is using this for her piano and voice lessons. The sound is clear and precise. The weight of the keys is more similar to a piano. The sustain pedal works more like those of a regular piano. This is a purchase worth getting!

I love my donner I’m a beginner and this piano is great I love the sound quality I sometimes have trouble with my a6# key but other than that it’s great I would totally recommend it and purchase it again

I like this a lot because it’s good quality and great for learning on as it’s the closest thing to a real piano with the semi weighted keys. Love it, have it connected to my PC as a MIDI and works awesome!

This keyboard is great for small spaces. I just play as a hobby and prefer to have something easy to move (even though it’s kinda heavy) The keyboard come with a peddle that I have not been able to make work. I bought a seat and stand separately for about 40$ each. All in all it is a good purchase.
R. Curtis
great sound and good for beginners
Mike
Good instrument for price. Easy to play with good sound. The additional (beats, changing sounds, etc) features take a second to figure out but aren’t too difficult. Foot pedal works great.

I am learning to play and I really enjoy the sound and how great it fits in my home.

This keyboard is amazing for biginners the sound quality is really good and great price for all extras it has
Limiae
It is very good for the price. I would recommend this only for beginners. It sounds like it has a deep sound quality.

The keyboard has a luxurious design that looks like high-end models. It is 88 long keyboard models with semi-weighted keys. The key has an ivory-like color make it different from the Yamaha one that I currently have. The button has a minimalist design that only has a few in the panel. However, the piano has a lot of functions and sound styles. They can be called via a combination of buttons and keys. We need to spend sometimes to study the manual. One interesting feature that I like is that we can open mp3 via external storage for background music and it is very easy to do. The keyboard does have a pedal and music sheet holder. However, it does not have a stand so we need to purchase it separately. The keyboard is actually thin and does not occupy much space and it is absolutely fit for a small apartment.

I just started my online casses with this electric piano, in a overall it is a decent piano, it come with great speakers but i am using headphones, you'll need P10 to P2 adapters, the paper holder could be better designed but it sill holding ass it for, it is a real full size piano.

An excellent machine. Perfect for regular practice and playing.

I've played piano for years, and watched my kids learn to play. Then my grandchildren began to play, so, getting older, I gave my piano to the grandkids. But, I missed it. So I chose to buy this Donner piano. I was so excited when it arrived! I set it up --and middle C didn't work. I contacted Customer Service through Amazon, and after sending a video of the problem, they shipped a new piano to me in less than a week. It's working great and I'm thrilled with the sound and the feel of playing again. BIG thank you to Donner's customer service!
James
Good quality piano with Semi-weighted keys and it contains eight different tones such as Acoustic Grand Piano and more. It's body design is also convincing which is not too heavy for one person to transfer, the Semi-weighted keys are soft and sensitive which makes it easier for me to practice. The features provided are useful and interesting because they make it more fun when using it. Well, it could be a good choice for beginners.

This piano arrived in great condition. The weighted keys give it the feel of a regular piano, and the sound is rich and clear. My daughters are serious pianists, one plays in an orchestra, and they are impressed with the quality of the tone.

I did a lot of research before buying this. It was the cheapest a real piano sounding keyboard I could find. I’m very happy with it, it works great. The only thing I would say is to make sure that you don’t plug in the pedal while the keyboard is on or it will reverse the affect.

It's a good price and a quality product. The people who know their stuff weren't lying! It's also taken a little beating falling once or twice and powered thru! I'm really happy with it and the stand that was recommended for it

Got a lot of good playtime out of this product, really great for the price
-Fancy and Realistic Pedal
-Full 88 Keys
-MIDI controls are a bonus
-Great Polyphony of notes/total notes sustained (i am very picky about that haha)
-Has nice Headphone inputs in FRONT of piano instead of the back, multiple inputs included for headphones/amps
-Great compact size too! Would like to take it in my car for an open mic night soon
since I have chronic carpal tunnel problems, the keys feel very gentle to my hands
Want to give a shoutout to the team at Donner, they've seriously gone above and beyond to help me with any issues I ran into, super approachable and happy to help out, had a good experience with them
This one's a keeper, I super recommend this one to new piano players, too. It has everything you need to start playing AND more

This is by far one of the best quality made digital pianos for the price.
I was not sure and concerned because I thought it was too cheap but I decided to get it amd try it anyways.
The keys are heavy and realistic feeling. I like that. Some digital pianos have plastic light weight and doesn’t really respond well.
This piano has excellent response with the key weight.
Im addition, the included pedal works flawlessly and gives a nice touch to combine notes without dry empty space.
The speakers that come with it are very nice and high on the Sharp end and the lows have a nice bass to it .
I would recommend this to anyone starting out and does not have the room to get a real piano.
Still surprised that it’s under $300 for this complete musical instrument.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. We got it for my wife who took lessons as a child. We wanted something decent, but didn't want to spend a fortune. This one has many different voices to choose from. We really like the pedal which can be used for sustain, Chorus or reverb. It has a built-in metronome to practice with and it has plenty of songs, Rhythms etc to play along with. We love the adjustable weighted keys for real feel and it is light enough to haul around. The only downside that we found at all is that the instruction book has the specific keys you use to start a certain song wrong for that song, like jingle bells isn't where it is supposed to be but we located the songs and made corrections in the book. Overall I think it was a great choice for any serious player, beginner to advanced.

If you are looking for a big piano/keyboard to start playing or you need to replace the one you have been using for a while, look no further; this is the product you want to get. Some people would say that you can not get a quality keyborad for this price that even comes with a sustain pedal (that itself is worth a lot) but that product is right here. I've been a keyboard player for over ten years and this product do not disappoint me, you can transport it easily is not that heavy and it have some amazing features (transpose, trills, sustain and even reverb included) you can spend hours playing this thing immersed in the music. The keys are heavy enough for you to feel that you are not playing just a plastic keyboard like other products out there, plus this thing is huge I am pretty sure that two piano players could play it at the same time. Donner is an incredible brand that I really recommend, if you haven't purchased any of their products you can start with this one.

Not the one in the picture. This piano is 9 inches high from whatever you set it on. It is huge! It weighs almost nothing, but again, it is huge! Don't get me wrong, great piano, great Sound, and a bargain but it takes over a room.
JONATHAN D.
This is a basic piano but is well made, easy to use, has a lot of features, and sounds fantastic. The matt and gloss finishes look really good for an instrument in this price range. Put it on a nice stand and pair with a piano stool and you have all you need.
It has all the inputs and outputs you could need including two headphone sockets! The feel and weight of the keys is realistic and based on an initial review of the key features reveals a generous set of effects, voices, tempos and other functions to explore.
Comes with a manual, power supply, single foot pedal and large music stand. Recommended as a great value for beginners and those looking for a portable piano with lots of features.

We do not have room for a piano. This was a great substitute. My husband teaches our children on it.

We’ve had the piano for a few weeks and so far, it’s working well and we’re happy with our purchase. I bought it so my son could start learning piano and it works perfectly for that. Do be careful with what stand you buy for it. We bought the rock jam stand that was recommended by Amazon. However, it is not the stand that goes with the piano so it doesn’t latch properly and therefore is not secured to the stand.
Artista K.
I am very happy with my purchase. I have had this item for 2 months now and I love how the keys are weighted just right for someone like me getting back into piano. I really like the sound quality and the build is very well done for a digital piano. I suggest reading the manual just to be aware of all the great things this piano can do. Overall I find myself seeing this piano in my home for a long time.
*The 5 stars is for the weighted keys. This piano may be slightly tough for a beginner but it is easy to learn on once you get use to it plus beginners will have better control of their keys :)
