So here’s what I think. It’s portable, playable and super affordable! It has all the characteristics of its full size sibling, the (ETR-380) trumpet. I’ve never played a pocket trumpet in my life so I was very skeptical on the playability of these style horns. I’m very impressed with the overall build and sound quality of this model! It’s basically a full trumpet that has been processed through a Willy Wonka machine and shrunken down hahahaha! It’s got the sound and feel of a full size horn but in a little package! This is an excellent option for learning to play or giggling around with friends! You can keep this in your practice studio, car or work place for quick practice routines! Me personally, I’ve got this in my couch for quick practicing during TV commercials and it’s there when I get quick bursts of inspiration! It’s a super cool conversation piece that will baffle people’s minds when they hear it! Excellent option for kids wanting to learn but can’t carry the weight of a full size trumpet!

It looks like a toy in my big man hands, but it plays just like a full sized trumpet! The sound is slightly brighter but, for the price, I absolutely don’t mind. It’s very portable and is fun to show off to other musicians. Worth every penny!

Plays really well. I use it as a travel Trump so when I go on trips I can take it with me and practice. I also use if for practice. Just beware because it’s a smaller instrument you will hear the notes a lot louder than a traditional trumpet.

Definitely a great product for the price. While it's obviously not going to produce the same sound as a high tier instrument, it sounds great to an untrained ear. Its also super portable and comfortable to play and hold.

It has a nice tone and a really good feel in the hands...has some weight to it and feels like a sturdy instrument. Very happy with this purchase!

so I don't play trumpet, kid does. my ear is fairly good with tones, and this sounds very similar to his Yamaha student trumpet. he says some of the functionality "feels a bit cheaper". but he's comparing a $1500 trumpet to this. like the valve movement isn't as good or something. but he still plays really well with this. he got it as a novelty, but this really is a great starter trumpet I'd say.

This is not a professional trumpet. Not even close. But for what you pay and what you get, this is pretty extraordinary. When I blew the first few notes on this horn, I literally said "wow" out loud. For something so small, the sound is big, and if you need to travel with something just to keep your chops warm, this will definitely do.

This trumpet is constructed pretty well and sounds great! I would highly recommend getting a mute like a Pampet mute if you live in a place where the neighbors complain or if you're trying to practice in secret so you can surprise loved ones with a performance after months of training. Shhh!
Anyway, this is a great item if your looking into picking up the trumpet. It's a great starter. Remember to work on your chops!

I bought this for my son, who is in 6th grade beginner band. He is learning tuba at school, but I wanted him to have other brass options as well. Also, I played trumpet in school band so I may be somewhat biased. I haven't played in many years, but i picked up on it again very quickly with this trumpet. Easy to play, great tone and compact. Like others have said, don't expect a professional instrument, but for the price this can't be beat. The case is also well made. It's a soft exterior, but the interior is sturdy enough to protect the instrument. I attached a few photos to give anyone interested an idea of the size.

It sounds almost exactly like my current king trumpet and has a nice tone. Fits my 5c Bach mouthpiece nicely and all the slides are perfectly greased when it comes in. Overall I say the price was worth it and I’m happy with my purchase.

The trumpet itself came in great condition with no scratches or dings, the valves and slides move very freely, and the tuning and all-over sound was great! The storage case it came with wasn’t top quality, but it was good enough for the price. It also included a 7C mouthpiece, cleaning tools, a small thing of valve oil , and I guess some white playing gloves that might’ve fit Frodo Baggins....All in all, for $120 it’s definitely worth the price.

I am continuously amazed at the quality of Easter instruments at such an affordable price. The Pocket Trumpet far exceeded my expectations. Bright, shiny, nickel plated brass looks sharp! It comes with everything pictured in the description: Trumpet, Mouthpiece, gloves, cleaning cloth, valve oil, cleaning brushes, and strap for the included hard case. Most important is it plays and sounds beautiful, and at about half the size of a normal trumpet! I am very impressed with this buy and would recommend it to anyone, beginner to advanced.
