I'm new to this equipment and creating beats. If I can only get sound out of it.
Overall it came faster than I expected and it didn't include a cable and manual.
Joshua R.
It's very nice and simple to uses. There is only one problem and that's the fact I can't record anything I have done. Don't know why but the button light up but don't stay on.
Denis G.
I'm new to the whole MIDI world, but I'm having a lot of fun getting sounds out of this great little keyboard. So glad I bought it.
KT
Absolutely in love with my dmk! It's not only affordable but extremely versatile.
Phillip
This is a pretty good MIDI keyboard for the price and met my expectations. The pads are well made and all sliders and dials function well.
AJW
This keyboard is awesome. This is my first MIDI and is well worth the money. Great for beginners. My brother took one look at it and bought one for himself!
Jeffro
Nice action and feel on keys. The unit is rigid, thin and portable; Controls and pads are high quality. Feels stable and solid when tap drumming on pads.
Stephania
Great deal, and perfect sized for beginner.
Shahaque
Great product! It is my first midi product. Easy to connect, easy to use. Came in pretty clean and works as they've marketed. The pitch and the modulator are touch-sensitive and work pretty well with the product.
ksabol
This is so easy to use I have need writing music and just loving it.
Shannon
The donner is a great midi keyboard.
Johnston
I’m so happy there’s an affordable option for music production that is compatible with all the software I use! Extremely portable and responsive, using this product has been nothing less than amazing.
Bousquet
Nice quality and is good for use...
Erica
Brought for my husband as a Xmas gift. He’s used it every day since. Loves it.
Susan
I love it but I can't figure out how to get the pitch and modulation to work. Pretty sure that's just my own lack of knowledge when it comes to setting up midi devices though.
Dipset
I've been searching for my first MIDI keyboard and I'm very happy with this one! Great size, light, thin but sturdy and happy with it being pressure/touch-sensitive.The white goes well with my desk aesthetics.
Gma
My son writes music so when he needed that extra piece to play different sounds this was exactly what he needed!
Matthew
I've been using it for the past couple of days and I am truly impressed on how easy it is for beginners like myself to learn how everything works. The keyboard is very portable and doesn't not take a lot of space up on my desk. I see myself trying more and more to see how it works and have more fun with it.
Cory
Great for a first time user! I love the quality. Donner is always amazing. I’ve gotten multiple things from them and I am always pleased. I’m looking forward to using more Donner items in the future. This would be great as a gift to someone in your family just starting out. Great durability and great price!

I’m in love with this midi controller. It looks great, feels solid, and performs the way I need it to. When I plugged it in I started making music and having a good time right away. I recommend this!
Nashville88
Nice product. A little advanced for my middle school son who is a beginner, so it will take some time to learn. But easy to set up and use. Very cool look and feel, and sound is good.
Keegan
It shipped rather quick.
Slingshot
Bought this for my son and he loves it! He had played around with some DAW programs and wanted to create some music. So far, it has worked very well for him. He is learning on his own and will start getting some instruction soon. He's created some cool beats on his own! The controller was easy to setup and he was making music in no time! Quality of build is great!
Timothy
It looks great, and feels durable.
David
This keyboard us really easy to use. All they keys, most of the drum pads, and a few of the sliders were mapped out perfect right out of the box. Keyboard has nice size keys with a natural responsiveness. The layout makes for a comfortable playing experience.
Ami
The rapid response time is insane on this midi controller. i found that its faster than my other much more expensive midis and im so happy about that! great controls, super easy to use, i am more advanced and getting more comfortable with it. loving the style and structure. great bang for your buck, will surely be checking this company for more products.
Justin
Keyboard was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a midi keyboard to mess around with quarantine and it has 25 keys and drum pads which I was looking for. The drum pads don’t sink in and are all touch based. It’s the perfect size to take on a trip and mess around with friends. Definitely something to mess around with and get yourself ready for bigger midi keyboards or players.
Wendy
Light and portable midi keyboard! The built in drum pad is a cool feature as well, but you can also switch to drum kit on in your program and all the keys have different sounds as well.A recommended buy if you are looking to get into arranging or composing!
Brian
Very good delivery. I read reviews from other buyers, I was surprised their reviews were very good and extraordinary. Then I bought this product and when it arrived at my home.I immediately use it, this product is very good no one can match the quality of this product. I am very happy to get this product.
I highly recommend this product. If you don't buy this product, you will regret it. because you will not get the best quality besides this product.
Jay
Overall I'm very satisfied with this.
SageStone
I’ve been using this keyboard for a few months now, and it has been very helpful learn some tunes and play around with new instruments.
Quinn
It works perfectly. There’s no delay and the keys are very responsive. I think it also supports different pressure inputs. Overall it’s a great portable mini MIDI keyboard.
Tim
This DMK 25 serves well for my purpose. I make music composition using my ipad and mac. I am a guitar player but wanted to add synth/piano and drum beats in my songs. This thing makes it easy to do those intruments to play with. Velocity sensitivity works good both keys and pads. This looks very sturdy so I hope this will serve me for good. I can recommend this thing to music players/composers.
Alisa
The size of the controller is fantastic too. It fits perfectly on my desk (see photo). I can keep it right there for easy access. No need to have a full keyboard to do what I'm wanting to do, so this is perfect!
zeejaydee
I've spent the weekend with this MIDI controller and I have to say, man, it's incredible. It's easy to use, program and best of all, it's virtually plug and play.
Jason
I cannot find anything lacking on this unit. There is USB and jack for foot sustainer. Choice in keys or pads all are touch sensitive. I love the size and how many options have been put into this.
Jessica
It can do every instrument and play and records different beats on top of each other. Overall this will be a great way for my son to start making his own music.
NicodemusGear
It's cheap and cheerful, quick and easy to setup and use, and yet manages to surprise me with its depth and customizability. What this means is that this Donner DMK25 is very flexible, and can accomplish tasks that may not be obvious at first glance.
Jackson
For now I'm mainly using the DMK 25 with Melodics for practicing keys and pads. It was really easy to map it, and so far it's been working great. The keys don't feel mushy, and having the velocity response is nice. I don't have much experience with pads, but these feel nice to me and seem very responsive. So far I'm very happy with it!
Jake
The size is perfect for my needs! It's compact and lightweight without feeling flimsy and I'm easily able to fit it on my desk in front of my laptop without having to rearrange anything.
John
I bought the MIDI keyboard on reviews mentioning it is a great beginner MIDI keyboard, and I can attest to that. The keyboard is compact in size and lightweight, yet feels durable in material and of the keys and pads. I can easily bring this from my apartment to my classes and other places like the library in my backpack easily due to how light it is. The keys and pads are easily programmable as well as responsive to the touch. It is so far easy to learn and try and very user friendly. I think there is much value in this MIDI keyboard and it gets the job done with a variety of keys and buttons that are each easily programmable and very responsive in any program you throw at it.
Mack
It's not too bulky and would fit fine in a laptop bag.
CJ
I'm a novice so this product seemed perfect for me.
I like its low profile and light weight, although it does seem on the cheaper end, no surprise, but like I said this seems perfect for me to get started on.
Charlie
It took me several hours to get the hang of using this keyboard, but once I got started, it seemed to be pretty easy. I tested out all the buttons, to make sure they worked. Of course, there is way more to learn because I just tried the basics and I will learn more as I go along. I guess, though, if I could figure out how to use this, then it probably would be perfect for a teenager, that likes to make his/her own music.
I am really glad that I purchased the Donner DMK 25 MIDI keyboard. It is lots of fun, once you get the hang of it, very de-stressing, perfect for the whole family, along with a very reasonable price.
Matt
This has a great deal Of power! The sliders feel great the pads are very reactive to touch and dynamics. Great product. Easy to set up and install worked great with all my Virtual instruments.
Funk
I bought this for two reasons: as a portable controller for beat making, and as a nice little keyboard for my 4 year old to mess around with so he doesn't break my fancier ones! I'm very happy on both fronts. This is portable enough to take on an airplane, and intuitive enough that my kid loves using it. All in all, this is a terrific purchase for the price.
Marla
It is completely programmable, very light, and very portable. In fact, not only does it work with all of the fancy DAW (digital audio workstation) software that's out there, it also works with several cell phone apps.
Paul
This is a small, simple, and powerful device that can grow with you. It's a great deal!
Michael
Great present for my soon to be 13 year old son.
Angela
To begin, I am not a musician. That said I love how easy and fun this little guy can be. I've spent hours putting beats and chords together sometimes not even really knowing what I'm doing. Wen i finally found a good program to go with it, i spent even more time fiddling around and trying to figure out new sounds.
Peter
I've never owned a MIDI controller/keyboard, and I'll admit when I first plugged it in to Garageband, I was very confused. A little playing around and in about 15 minutes, I was up and running. It is a blast. I had a full size keyboard that I was using previously, and this little guy saves so much space, but gives me the same sound and much more accessibility with controls. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an extra tool in their home recording studio, or someone just looking to have some fun with a MIDI keyboard!
Whiteside
I was a little leary on getting the white at first, but as you can see in the pictures, it actually looks great!
Mechnugget
The keyboard looks cool. It feels well built but it's light. I'm uaing the keyboard to control virtual instruments in cakewalk by bandlab. The set up and configuration was pretty smooth. I can control volume, record playback, and modulate tones all from the keyboard. The pads and keys are all velocity sensitive (harder you hit, louder you play). If you are new to midi, DAWs, and digital music, expect it to take a couple hours to figure out what you are doing. It's not so much that it's hard as it is just something new to learn.
David P P.
This keyboard us really easy to use. It connects via USB type c and was instantly recognized by my Win10 PC. All they keys, most of the drum pads, and a few of the sliders were mapped out perfect right out of the box. Keyboard has nice size keys with a natural responsiveness. The layout makes for a comfortable playing experience.
Aseref R.
Light and portable midi keyboard! I really like the transpose and octave features. It also has a pitch slide which you can do some fun things with. I am new to the tech side of music and this keyboard plugs into garage band super easily. Literally you just plug it into you computer and choose midi in garage band!
Know that the computer end is usb so you might need an adapter depending on what computer you have.
The built in drum pad is a cool feature as well, but you can also switch to drum kit on in your program and all the keys have different sounds as well.
A recommended buy if you are looking to get into arranging or composing!

My13 yo son begged me for this for his birthday. For others out there who are not mixing professionals just know you do have to download software and this is not like a synthesizer, you have to plug the keyboard into a computer to play it. My son knew this but I didn't, so after some time we got it up and rolling and it is the coolest thing, it can do every instrument and play and records different beats on top of each other. My son says this is better than his friend who had an Akai and when I compared them the Donner was $20 cheaper. So, overall this will be a great way for my son to start making his own music. I do suggest trying at least 3 different of the free software-making programs just to see which one is easiest for you.

Value for the money is excellent. There is another company that produces a VERY similar product, almost down to the key and pad layout, but this guy costs significantly less. That's a no brainer.
The size is about the same as a15" laptop. It's not too bulky and would fit fine in a laptop bag.
I'm beginning to figure this thing out, and it's found itself a permanent home in my growing wanna be home studio!

I've been searching for my first MIDI keyboard and I'm very happy with this one! Great size, light, thin but sturdy and happy with it being pressure/touch-sensitive. I currently use this with Reaper software which is plug-and-play compatible. The white goes well with my desk aesthetics.

During these Covid 19 times, I wanted to learn something new and have fun, and this is where the keyboard idea came from. I love this keyboard! It has so many programmable features! Great for beginners or advanced musicians and songwriters!
The drum pads work fantastic! It uses usb C so that has a wide range of compatibility! It includes a cable to connect to regular usb if you don’t have one.
The modulation and pitch bend sliders are excellent because they are extremely responsive and light up when you use them.
The keyboard itself is super thin and portable. Easy to put anywhere or transport if you want to make music on the go.
Overall, I would highly recommend this to beginners or advanced musicians alike.

Something I picked for new hobby and also for my son who is into music. So far great find for beginners/novice like us. Love the portability of this controller which allows us to practice before going to bed. I used it with an iPad Pro. Considering the price I paid for the keys, knobs, pads and faders are great and feel good. It is also great to know that I could edit the functions through the controller itself and not needing extra software, just need to go through it in the manual. I am also surprised on the responsiveness and sensitivity of the keys, pads, etc on this controller.
Again, amazing budget-friendly controller!

No other problems were noticed but I have yet to use at full potential.

If you look at other controllers in this price range, you will notice that they appear to be very similar to the DMK25. But if you look more closely, you'll see that the DMK25 has more variety than most. I didn't see any others with all of the different types of control features that the DMK25 provides in a single device. It is completely programmable, very light, and very portable. In fact, not only does it work with all of the fancy DAW (digital audio workstation) software that's out there, it also works with several cell phone apps.
Just for the record, you can download CakeWalk (by BandLab) for free, to make a full-blown recording and music creation studio environment. The big difference is that you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to do so.
You can also make it as simple as downloading an app to your cell phone. Just purchase a USB OTG adapter from amazon to connect the DMK25 directly to your cell phone. Then let the app know that you have the DMK25 connectced. That gives you a piano or recording studio setup that you can take anywhere! For details on how to do that, I've uploaded some video instructions that you can view.
This is a small, simple, and powerful device that can grow with you. With the DMK25 and some free (or very inexpensive) software, You can have anything you want: from a simple piano, to a mini-recording studio, to a professional recording environment. It's a great deal!

I'm very happy on both fronts. This Donner is portable enough to take on an airplane, and intuitive enough that my kid loves using it. The small keys took me a while to get used to, but after 10 mins or so it wasn't an issue. Also, the record and pause buttons don't seem to register with Logic Pro, but all the pads and keys work well. The velocity sensitivity on the keys is actually a bit better than what I expected (definitely better than the other cheap controller I replaced with this one). All in all, this is a terrific purchase for the price. I'm yet to be disappointed by a Eastar product.

The DMK25 suits my purposes. I needed something small that I could carry around to play with. I’ve mapped a few knobs and a slider to my AUM app controlling my device. It works fine for that. If I had a wishlist, I wish this thing came with Bluetooth built in. It just makes sense for this size. The keys are small and do have a toy feel but again, I bought it for an easy way to make music wherever I went and this fits the bill. The drum pads on this feel pretty good and pitch and modulation is pretty responsive.

I’ve been using this keyboard for a few months now, and it has been very helpful learn some tunes and play around with new instruments. I love being able to plug it into my MacBook and use it with GarageBand as a keyboard frequently, but it’s also awesome that it has pads for drums. It’s also a lot easier to take my MacBook and this keyboard on the go compared to my full-size keyboard (Donner DDP-300 - highly recommend).

I love it easy to use it i just love it.

Just giving it a test run. I'll get back to You on that

I've spent the weekend with this MIDI controller and I have to say, man, it's incredible. It's easy to use, program and best of all, it's virtually plug and play. I'm very much a newbie with midi controllers, so the fact that I was able to plug this in and go right at it in Garageband was a huge win. I mean, who doesn't want to just hit the ground running and use something when you get it?
The size of the controller is fantastic too. It fits perfectly on my desk drawer (see photo). I can keep it right there for easy access. No need to have a full keyboard to do what I'm wanting to do, so this is perfect!
Donner hit it out of the park on this MIDI controller. Don't hesitate to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Ann B.
I needed a Midi for drum tracks and this will do that plus more as I grow into other software. I cannot find anything lacking on this unit. There is USB and jack for foot sustainer. Choice in keys or pads all are touch sensative. You may opt for a longer USB cord if needed like I prob will but it enough to start you off. I love the size and how many options have been put into this. Nothing feels cheep and i plan to write a #1 hit single on this. There are how to set up and use this unit from Donner.
Troy Dixon B.
I purchased the MIDI Keyboard console based on all of the positive reviews. It is an incredible amateur to mid-level MIDI console; some say it's for Youngsters, I would say it's extraordinary for Grown-ups as well. I offer one word of advice, to get this device to work correctly, you need to connect your PC and download software like CakeWalk.' once you have the software installed, setup is a breeze. The console is conservative in size and lightweight; the materials are quality made. The keys are very responsive, so much fun to play. It's compact, easy to carry around to different places. I have a great surround sound feels like you are in a studio. It's a slight learning curve. The sound and features for the price are incredible. This product is highly addictive. I play with it every day, still learning about all the cool features. You get a lot of features that you would not expect at this price point. I'm very please with my purchase.
Jake A.
The size is perfect for my needs! It's compact and lightweight without feeling flimsy and I'm easily able to fit it on my desk in front of my laptop without having to rearrange anything. (See pictures for size comparison with magic keyboard 2 for scale)
The provided cable is USB-C on one end (to connect to the DMK 25) while the other end is standard USB-A. Not a big deal to use an adapter if you only have USB-C ports, or you can opt to use a different cable that's USB-C on both ends. I had no trouble connecting it with my Macbook with an adapter, and even without mapping anything it worked out of the box in GarageBand.
For now I'm mainly using the DMK 25 with Melodics for practicing keys and pads. It was really easy to map it, and so far it's been working great. The keys don't feel mushy, and having the velocity response is nice. I don't have much experience with pads, but these feel nice to me and seem very responsive.
I'll post an update if I run into any issues, but so far I'm very happy with it!

The MIDI Keyboard is easily recognized by FL Studio and other DAWs, and even by programs such as Melodics. This is amazing in that regard because I was able to test out its capability with those different programs and now I have the option for different programs to create music and effects. The keys and pads are easily programmable as well as responsive to the touch. I'm currently enjoying learning music as a hobby drumming with the finger MIDI pads and actually signed up for digital music coming fall and can not wait to use it more. I have some experience in piano and it is not needed to use this. It is so far easy to learn and try and very user friendly. I think there is much value in this MIDI keyboard and it gets the job done with a variety of keys and buttons that are each easily programmable and very responsive in any program you throw at it
Mack F.
This Donner midi controller is pretty slick. Complete piece of cake to get paired to my antique laptop. I downloaded cakewalk to use for my DAW, and after making a couple simple adjustments, I was able to control the digital instruments via the DMK25.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a composer by any means. I genuinely thought I could get this, set up s few drum loops and have something to play my guitar with in a few hours, but that's not the case. Due to my lack of experience, I spent the better part of a week trying to figure the DAW out, even though the Spaceline worked perfectly the whole time. I highly believe that someone with some more experience with this digital stuff would figure it out super quickly.
Value for the money is excellent. There is another company that produces a VERY similar product, almost down to the key and pad layout, but this guy costs significantly less. That's a no brainer.
The size is about the same as a15" laptop. It's not too bulky and would fit fine in a laptop bag.

I used to play a keyboard, several years back, but got rid of it. I have been thinking about getting another one and found the Donner DMK 25 MIDI keyboard. This one is quite different that what I am used to playing. In order to play this keyboard, you have to install one choice of several music software programs (DAW) before playing. I decided to download GarageBand. The keyboard also needs to be connected to a computer or mobile device via a USB cord; the type C cord is included. I also plan on using my IPAD and mobile phone, eventually. This MIDI keyboard is compact with many features; more than you would expect a small keyboard to have.
It took me several hours to get the hang of using this keyboard, but once I got started, it seemed to be pretty easy. I tested out all the buttons, to make sure they worked. Of course, there is way more to learn because I just tried the basics and I will learn more as I go along. Of power! The sliders feel great the pads are very reactive to touch and dynamics. Great product. Easy to set up and install worked great with all my

I needed something to help with my compose something by 40 new years resolution. Donner has truly impressed me with their guitar products and their midi controller follows in the same way. And in this case you are learning a midi control surface, midi pads, a keyboard and a DAW. A couple hours is probably rushed to be honest. When I get my compose something by 40, I may see if there is a way to upload that.
