During this pandemic, my friend and I wanted to learn a new hobby together. After hearing our friend’s kids learning to play guitar and showcasing their new talent, we decided that we wanted to learn how to play also since I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the guitar! This is a great beginner acoustic guitar because it comes with everything that you need to get started.

It makes a Great package. Everything needed for my grandson. Super gloss finish. We used a full size guitar mount to hang it on his wall.

Warning: we're still learning the guitar, so this may not sound perfect. It does come with a tuner tho, so don't think it's not a good sounding guitar based on how we play.
We bought a Donner guitar earlier this year and absolutely love it, so when we decided to purchase another guitar so that my husband and I could play together, we knew we would buy another Donner one. They make a great line of beginner guitars.
I decided on this one because it came with a lot of extras. One of my strings broke and it was an easy fix with the replacement strings that they include. All the strings are labeled so you know exactly which one it is that you need.
I found a couple cheap beginner books at a local thrift store that I'm excited to start learning from over the summer while I'm off, one of which was Taylor Swift songs!

This is my first guitar, and I am so happy with my choice and purchase! The guitar is so beautiful, sounds great and feels like it is high quality. I love that it is solid top and made with spruce and mahogany, which you can't find at this price point from the "bigger" name brands. It also came with everything needed to start playing right away! I highly recommend this guitar.

The Donner DAD-812 Acoustic Guitar looks good. The bag is small for the guitar. The finish had a few flaws in the finish, but could only see them in certain light angle. Replaced the strings. The overall setup was fine. Turner works good. The strap is made of heavy duty material. Easy to get use to. Stays in tune well. Would purchase another Donner Guitar.

Great guitar. Sounds really good, and looks great too!
I own 2 acoustic guitars, this Donner DAD-812 and a Rogue RA-090 (cheap $99 guitar). While the Rogue is playable and great for beginners, it doesn’t sound nearly as good compared to the Donner DAD-812. I also like Donner strings a lot, too bad they are out of stock. I own a Donner Ukulele too and I like it a lot. I’m very satisfied with Donner products.

I wanted to have a guitar since a long time and this is the first one I got. I would say, it's great for beginners from tuning easily with provided accessories to playing. It's all in all a great package. I recommend buying it.

I had been toying with the idea of learning to play the guitar for quite some time and recently I finally made up my mind to do something about it.
Once that was decided, I realized I would need a guitar. Now, even though I had never played, I was familiar with the prominent guitar makers, (Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, etc) and knew I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on a first guitar. What if I decided I didn’t like it? Or even more probable, what if I was terrible?
I asked a good friend who has been playing for over 50 years, what I should look for in a first guitar and armed with that information, I went shopping. I set a price limit between $150-$175.00. I went to eBay, pawnshops, consignment shops, antique shops, a music store & Amazon. What I found was, if it was what I wanted it was over my limit and if it was in my range, it was junk. Until I came across Eastar on the Internet.
The Dreadnought Acoustic had the features and construction I was looking for, an accessory package, a great price and it was new, not pre-owned.
I placed my order and told my friend. He hadn’t heard of Eastar and told me he looked the guitar up on it, and it “sounded” like a good deal on “paper” but he was reserving judgment until he could see what I had.
When the guitar arrived I went to his house to get his evaluation. The first thing we both commented on was how nice it looked. The construction and finish details were impressive. Then he “fine tuned” my initial tuning, and proceeded to put it through its paces with several of his favorite riffs.
All in all, he was quite impressed and compared it to one of his guitars that cost twice as much. He said that “it’s easily a great beginner/intermediate level guitar and that the accessories are gravy.”
Now, if I can just learn how to play it well.

OMG this guitar is freakin amazing. Warm sound, warm bass, nice reverb. You can do either finger style or guitar solo with this guitar. 130$ish for this guitar deal is amazing, you get all needed accessories (capo,strap,tuner,bag,picks...). Good for beginners and intermediate players. I went to Guitarcenter few weeks ago but cannot find any cheap guitar and good quality.

This beginner bundle comes with a full-size 41 inch dreadnought acoustic guitar, strap, tuner, capo, picks, pickguard, extra strings, cleaning cloth and Allen wrench. This even comes with a padded backpack to store and keep your guitar protected and is easy to transport and take with you. The tuner is very easy to use simply by clipping it at the end of the guitar and will indicate if the string is tuned or not. The only thing I wish was that this was smaller because I feel like a 41 inch guitar is a bit large for a beginner like me.
This is a beautiful guitar made of a solid spruce top with laminated mahogany back & sides with a glossy finish. It’s so pretty and shiny! Not only does this look nice, but it sounds nice and rich as well. My other friend who has been playing guitar for years came over and I showed her this guitar. She tested it out and played it and said that she was surprised and impressed at the sound quality considering this was a beginner guitar. She says this is a great value for everything that I got and was surprised it came with all of the amazing accessories!

This beautiful Donner acoustic guitar in full size was simply a perfect first acoustic guitar for my son. He is taking lessons and we wanted a nice new one but did not want to spend a fortune, make sure that he would keep it up. This is a 41" dreadnought guitar bundle. So, it comes with all the goodies, gig bag, tuner, picks strap string
This beautifully crafted guitar is solid Sitka spruce on the top with laminated mahogany back & sides. The slim neck provides a very comfortable feel for his smaller hands and excellent playability according to his instructor. The smooth satin finish maximizes resonance for optimal sound quality and it also looks great.
Has all of the perfect sounds or what our teacher tells us the right frequency, in low, full and mid-frequency both great for beginners enthusiasts. With the gloss finish my son was very happy when he pulled this acoustic guitar out and it came with so many features. No need to get any other add ons at first this is ready to go right out of the nicely packaged box.

This is an awesome guitar for the price. It looks great, has a full and resonant tone, and rich lows and highs. The guitar itself came with a padded gig bag, picks, a chromatic tuner, a strap, and Allan wrench, an extra set of strings, and a couple other accessories. Out of the box there were no problems with the guitar and it played fine. There were no problems in the finish as far as I could see. The only downside is that the guitar is not acoustic electric, so you are not able to plug it in directly to an amp or audio interface. Overall, though, it’s a great guitar.

I am an open mic/occasional small gig musician, and wanted an inexpensive guitar as a backup. I am beyond stoked with what I scored for under $150. The bag and accessories were a nice bonus, but I just really love the guitar.
First of all, I was genuinely surprised at how nice it looked. The wood they used to build this one is just beautiful. The striped bindings they used are a very nice touch. Other details: It has a gloss finish as opposed to matte, and the back of the body is closer to the soundboard at the neck end (which I like because dreadnoughts are already on the larger side). It has black machines and strap buttons.
I was thrilled when I actually played it. The intonation is spot on, harmonics are in all the right places. Chords stay in tune as you travel up the neck. And as for tone, I think it fits the bill for what I play, which is acoustic versions of 60-70s rock, 90s alternative, and a little country now and then.
I will make some minor alterations (as I do with all of my guitars). I will file the saddle and nut for lower action and replace the strings with a lighter gauge. My personal penchant for altering guitars is a thing of personal feel, but I thought I'd mention the (what I consider "high") action and strings just to be thorough.
To sum up, I love the looks, overall feel, and sound of this guitar. It's well constructed and playable right out of the box (aside from having to tune it).
