Eastar EVA-3 Violin with learning Point Matte
Student Violin / Learning Point / Hard Case
Eastar EVA-3 violin is an innovative violin set, the innovative use of finger plates inlaid with muscovite can help students find the appropriate position.
There are two important points to note here:
The neck of the violin is white without paint, all of the neck of high-grade violins are not colored, otherwise the hands will sweat and slip when playing.
When tuning with the peg, press it inward slightly. Try to watch professional violin tuning teaching videos on relevant video websites.
Eastar Would Never Disappoint You
Eastar is an excellent musical instrument design and manufacturing brand dedicated to primary and intermediate musicians. When you buy from Eastar, you are going to buy from a company that values every customer. Eastar insists on making good products and is supported by one year's parts and labor maintenance.
How To Choose Violin Sizes
You need to know the length between your neck and the middle of your left-hand palm.
The violin size determined by the neck/mid-palm approach would be the biggest size you should use.
Learning Finger Guide
Innovative use of finger plates inlaid with muscovite to help students quickly find the appropriate position to better master the violin playing skills.
Eliminate the energy and expense of buying fingerboard stickers, the board points are very clear, and there will be no reflection under the light.
Set a Bridge
The bridge should be left high and low right, and the bridge should coincide with the midpoint of the vi hole of the violin.
When you follow the bridge, you must loosen the violin string. After placing the bridge in place, the string is inserted into the limit of the bridge, and the tuning can be used normally.
Violin Tuning Guide
Violin Tuner with backlight feature
Simple and portable:
1.Start the tuner, clip the tuner to the head of the violin and select Function V.
2.The tuner backlight will show green when the tone is accurate.
Note: It is common for the string instuments that the state of new strings are unstable. It takes a few more tunings to stabilize the pitch.
Tunning Peg
1.Tighten the peg, make sure the peg is not too loose or too tight. 2.The strings are typically tuned to G-D-A-E from left to right. 3.Push the peg inside gently while tuning.
Metal Fine Adjustment Knob
The function of the fine adjustment knob is to help the violinist to make parts for tuning.

1.Loosen the adjustment knob 2.Adjust the violin neck knob to about 10 cents lower than the standard tone 3.Press the top knob to fix the pitch 4.Gently tighten the knob until the pitch is exactly positioned 5.Adjust A D first and then adjust G E

Rosin can increase the friction of the bow and strings to make the violin sound. Please use rosin before playing.

Ask a Question
  • Is the tuner included?

  • Is the 4/4 large enough for a (relatively) tall adult?

    Yes,it is.
Generally, the height of 1.5m or above is appropriate.
If you want a more accurate measurement,we kindly suggest you measure whether the arm is 60 cm or more long which would be more accurate.

  • Which Eastar violin is better for beginner kid?

Our violins both are good for beginner kid. You should choose the violin which is the best size for your child.
The violin size is determined by the length between the neck and the middle of the left-hand palm.
    Violin size 1/4 19inch—Arm length 19-20.75 in—Approx. age 6-7
    Violin size 1/2 20inch—Arm length 20.75-22 in—Approx. age 8-9

  • what is the fingerboard made of?

    Is made of jujube.

  • Can adults purchase for themselves?

This actually is a full size violin. If you are just learning to play as an adult, as a violinist since the age of 5, would say to you this is an excellent beginners violin.

  • Is it pre tunned? Do I need to tune it myself?

    Dear customer,
It is not pre tunned, you need to tune it by yourself.
The tuning knob is made of high-quality wood , the coefficient of friction is appropriate, it is easy to tune, and it is not easy to be out of tune after the sound is adjusted.

  • Does it come ready to play?

No. You will have to set the bridge and tune the violin. This is a pretty easy process and there are a ton of videos on YouTube on how to do it. Also you will have to apply rosin to the bow.

  • What brand of strings are on the violin?

The strings are made by Eastar. They are replaceable, you could purchase and replace the strings according to your needs on your own. Hope the above helps.

  • What size should I get for a 6 year old?

I would suggest a 1/4 or 2/4 depending on how big your 6 year old is.

  • Is this Eastar violin good for beginner?

    Yes, it’s good for beginners.
The fingerboard is inlaid with Muscovite fingerboard point, which is convenient for students to find the handle position quickly in the process of learning. And it is easy to tune, it is not easy to be out of tune after the sound is adjusted.
The product also comes with the accessories for beginner needs.
