Playing playing the horn to chromatic scale up and down is very smooth it feels very good at all the keys fit right in place it's a very very Advanced design horn I've been playing since 1966 and I don't plan to stop you guys have a blessed day

I wasn’t expecting anything more than just a basic beginner instrument.. It’s well beyond that, nearly every note is in tune according to the Peterson strobe, the action is great, and it looks really nice… It’s definitely a buy if you are looking to learn the sax and not break the bank, I wouldn’t hesitate to gig with it… You’ll probably want to upgrade the strap and mouthpiece at some point, what comes with it is fine though… I use the Legeir synthetic reeds 3.0 American cut with a Yamaha mouthpiece and Rovner ligature, it made it an amazing instrument for the price…

They put these safety tabs to prevent the notes from moving there are a lot of them make sure you remove them before playing, The sax for the price is ok, Defiantly for a beginner to learn and have fun with, Comes with everything you will need to start out. The quality sounds like it should.

Got the professionals saxophone for my son who just signed up for band. Can't comment on the sound quality, as he just started learning. But the saxophone looks to be well crafted, shining, and great attention to details. Love the iveroy keys, leather neck strap, and brass buckle. Even the teacher gave compliments about it's overall look and quality, that makes him loves his saxophone even more!

Product corresponding to the expectations for a neophyte like me in the quality / price ratio, it allows learning aided by a teacher, in the presentation photos the drawing-graffiti present on the sax does not appear, in my opinion not in tune with my tastes. I'm all ok.

i used it for several weeks now, although it's not perfect, but it meets all the requirements i need to learn sax at the initial stage.
my tutor says i do not need to up grade to the expensive ones for the first year learning.

Always wanted to learn sax and after much research on internet including youtube and amazon reviews decided to buy this one. I am a complete novice but I did play clarinet in the school band decades ago and I have a musical ear and can get a tune out of most instruments. When I opened this, it was as described by others, a beautiful instrument that looks and feel expensive. The kit and extras you get are very good too! After removing the corks that are used to protect the keys during shipping (thanks amazon reviewers for mentioning these!), I managed notes straight away, and while I am a novice and need to practice , the notes sound really good. Only had this for a couple of days but I am very enthusiastic about learning it courtesy of amazing youtube tuition! It looks really beautiful sitting on its stand. Even my family who have braced themselves for my playing, admit it looks a quality instrument! I am informed by my friend who is a professional musician that you can buy a 'sound mute' for the purpose of practising in consideration of others.......

This Alto Saxophone is perfect for the beginner user. Sound quality, craftsmanship, and overall good balance with key action.
The only things I did change were the mouthpiece, the ligature, and the neck strap. These items were designed on the cheap end.
My father purchased me a Selmer S80 mouthpiece and I purchased a Vandoren ligature. They fit and bring out a great sound. And the Adorence premium neck strap is a very comfortable fit that is easy on the neck.

It has been 27 years since I've played a sax. The last instrument I played was a Baritone Saxophone in high school. Nonetheless, my embouchure is shot and needs rebuilding. I took this sax out of the box, and was able to produce a decent sound and play the entire scale shy of 6 notes and I'm not ready for that yet. I played each note for a four count. Well built sax for the money. I'm very happy with this product.

Received the AS III professional model Alto Sax yesterday . The Lacquer is simply Amazing. More than what I expected. Could not get the Pad Guard & one Plastic coated reed. Regarding the short supply got immediate response from Eastar & am thoroughly convinced with their reply. The executives of Eastar are highly reciprocative. EASTAR maintains professional standards to a high kevel.Rest of the items are all excellent . Intonation is excellent. For the value it's much more . As the name suggests it's indeed a Professional model one. The keys are ergonomically designed which gives a very comfortable hand positions. I strongly recommend it to any buyer who needs a quality product at one tenth of cost .

I chose this alto saxophone to replace my old saxophone which is very tired.
This one has a good size, good shape and a fairly wide sound, personally this is okay for both hobbyists and professionals alike. Quite heavy, and well equipped, the designs carved on it are elegant. Basically, I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend it.

Being still only at the stage of initiation to the saxophone, I can hardly comment on the musical qualities of this instrument. However, for a contained budget, I think I have everything I need to get started. The instrument itself, but also the accessories, the bag in particular, seem to be of excellent craftsmanship, it makes neither toy, nor fragile, nor cheap. A seasoned user would know how to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of this sax, but as far as I'm concerned nothing shocks me by comparing it to other much more high-end instruments that I have had the opportunity to handle, and it will largely suit my modest level.

I've played piano for many years and have always enjoyed the sound of the Saxophone. I've always wanted to learn and having the underlying musical knowledge from Piano I figured I'd give a beginners kit like this a try.
I have to say I'm very impressed the Eastar Alto Saxophone is absolutely beautiful, its beautifully crafted and of excellent quality, every key works with intricacy and yet it has a solid and robust feel about it. The kit comes with everything you need as a beginner. The saxophone itself, neck strap, plenty of reeds, cleaning cloths, handling gloves, lubrication for the neck and a carry case for all the components.
The Sax itself sounds beautiful, the keys have a pearl type finish on them and they are simple and easy to use. The notes are perfect and all the keys function perfectly. I'm new to this but already I've managed to get a little tune out of it and I have to say I'm incredibly happy with the purchase.
It's absolutely stunning sounds amazing and it has everything you need bar a music book to get playing straight away, an absolutely excellent purchase

For several years now I wanted to play the saxophone without necessarily going overboard because of the quality / price ratio of this instrument, but I was pleasantly surprised!
As soon as the package is opened and even before unpacking the saxophone, there are quite an impressive number of accessories. Gloves, cleaning cloths, grease, carrying case, foot, everything is there! The pack allows you to start as soon as you receive it.
After the (very excited) handling of the saxophone, it is of excellent quality, it does not play where low end! I had my doubts about the sound quality of this one but the sound is just amazing for the price! I can only recommend it to you if like me, you want to get started in this instrument!

It's cool, looks too pretty, I'm buying it for my son for his birthday and he's so happy to have it. He's been taking drums lesson for two years, and now he's interested also in the saxophone. Next year he wants to register for the saxophone course, it will be very good to let him know a little, this product is very good value for money.
